Keep your account safe

The habits that stop most fraud, and what to do straight away if something looks wrong.

Habits that help

  • Use a long, unique password and add two-step sign-in or a passkey. See Turn on two-step sign-in and passkeys.
  • Check the address before you sign in. Our banking sign-in is on onlinebanking.olympuspay.co.
  • Never share a password, code or PIN with anyone, including someone who says they are from Olympus.
  • Give teammates their own login and the lowest role that lets them do their job. Never share one login.
  • Check the payee and account number twice before you send. A payment to a bank account cannot always be recalled.

If something looks wrong

  1. Change your password now, and sign out of other devices if you can.
  2. Freeze any card you do not recognise a payment on. See Issue and manage cards.
  3. Contact us straight away, or call the number on the contact page, and tell us what you saw and when.
  4. Do not forward the suspicious message to anyone else. Tell us and we will look at it.

To report a vulnerability in our systems, write to security@olympuspay.co.

Common questions

I see a payment I do not recognise. What should I do?

Freeze the card if it was a card payment, change your password, and contact us straight away with the date, amount and merchant. We will look into it with you. See Keep your account safe.

Is my money protected?

Your money is held and safeguarded in line with the regulatory position of the entity you bank with. That differs between Botswana and the United Kingdom, so please read our regulatory status rather than rely on a summary.
