Terms of use for the Olympus Pay websites

Version 1.0, effective 20 September 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the Olympus Pay websites, including olympuspay.co, the developer site at developer.olympuspay.co and the help centre (the "Sites"). The Sites are operated by Olympus Pay Proprietary Limited (Registration No. BW00009700756), Plot 69184, Block 8, Science and Technology Park, Gaborone, Botswana, and, for United Kingdom visitors, by Olympus Pay Limited, 14/2E Docklands Business Centre, 10-16 Tiller Road, London, United Kingdom, E14 8PX. Olympus Group Holdings, Inc. owns the Olympus name and logos.

Olympus Pay is a financial technology company. Financial, banking-type or identity services are provided through regulated Olympus entities and, where applicable, through authorised and licensed partners in accordance with applicable laws, depending on region.

The Sites are separate from the Olympus apps and accounts. Olympus accounts and services are governed by the Olympus Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, not by these terms.

2. Accepting these terms

By using the Sites you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or use the Sites with the involvement of a parent or guardian, or on behalf of a business that you are authorised to bind.

3. Information only, not an offer or advice

The Sites give general information about Olympus and its products. They are not an offer to sell or provide any product or service, and they are not financial, investment, treasury, tax, legal or foreign exchange advice. Olympus does not offer investment products, or investment, treasury or foreign exchange advice.

  • Availability depends on onboarding, verification, your country and the regulatory conditions that apply to Olympus there.
  • Products marked "coming soon", "planned" or with a launch date are not yet available. Dates and features can change.
  • Prices, fees and rates shown are correct when published. Fees can change on at least 30 days’ written notice, and the price you pay is confirmed before you order or confirm a transaction.
  • Exchange rates on the Sites are indicative. Only a quote shown to you for a transaction is a price.

4. Illustrative content

Product screens, demos, calculators and sample data on the Sites are illustrative. They move no real money and do not show real accounts or customers. Results from calculators are estimates.

5. Accounts and services

Olympus accounts, payments, cards and other services are provided under the Olympus Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and are subject to identity verification and the applicable law. If these terms conflict with those documents about a service, those documents apply to the service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Sites lawfully and fairly. You must not:

  • break the law or use the Sites for fraud, money laundering or any other unlawful purpose
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Sites, their servers or Olympus systems, or to disrupt them
  • run automated tools that place an unreasonable load on the Sites, or scrape them in ways that breach these terms
  • introduce malware, or test the security of the Sites or Olympus services without written permission
  • pretend to be Olympus or to be connected with Olympus when you are not

If you find a security vulnerability, report it to security@olympuspay.co and please do not test against other people’s data.

7. Intellectual property

The Sites, their design, text, graphics, software and the Olympus, Olympus Pay, Olympus Go and related names and logos belong to Olympus Group Holdings, Inc., its group companies or their licensors, and are protected by law. You may view the Sites and print or download a page for your own use. You may use the brand assets on the press page as supplied, without changing, recolouring or adding effects to them. Any other use needs our written permission.

Provider names and marks shown on the Sites belong to their owners. They identify technology only and imply no endorsement or partnership.

8. Your information

When you send a message, request or form through the Sites, you give us the information we need to respond, and you confirm it is accurate. We handle personal information under the Data Protection Act 2024 of Botswana and, where they apply, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, as set out in the Olympus Privacy Policy. You can ask to close an account or erase your data on the account closure and erasure page.

We send product updates by email only if you tick the box on a form to say you want them. Ticking it is optional wherever a form has another purpose. We record when and where you agreed, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to privacy@olympuspay.co. Unsubscribing does not stop emails about your account or a message you sent us.

The Sites set no cookies and run no advertising or analytics trackers. To work, some pages keep small items in your browser, such as sample balances for the session and the most recent exchange rates you loaded. They are not sent to Olympus.

10. Developer resources

The developer site describes the Olympus public API. Documentation, specifications and sandbox examples are provided for building integrations. Using the API is subject to the terms that apply to your merchant account. Keep API keys secret and use test keys while you build. We do not guarantee that the documentation is free of errors or that sandbox behaviour matches live behaviour in every case.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the Sites available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the Sites at any time, for example for maintenance or security.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The Sites are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Olympus does not give any warranty about the Sites or their content, and is not liable for loss caused by relying on the Sites, for loss of profit, business or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the Sites.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on the Sites, with its effective date, applies when you use them. If you keep using the Sites after a change, you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana, and the courts of Botswana have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. To make a complaint, follow the complaints information on the legal page.
