International transfers and wire details

Send money abroad with the fee and rate shown first, and share your details to receive an international transfer.

Sending

  1. Open International transfer and choose the account, the country and the beneficiary.
  2. Enter the amount. We show the fee and the exchange rate before you confirm, and the amount the recipient gets.
  3. Confirm. It follows the same payment rules and approvals as any other payment.

Which countries, currencies and how fast depends on the route. The corridors page lists every country, rail and settlement time, and the exchange rates page has a calculator. Rates on those pages are indicative; the quote you are shown before you confirm is the one that applies.

Receiving

Open Wire details to see the banking coordinates for receiving international transfers, and share them with the sender. Local details differ by currency.

Check the beneficiary's name, bank and account number before you send. A payment abroad usually cannot be recalled once it has gone.

How long does an international transfer take?

It depends on the route. Some corridors run in real time or same day, others take longer. The corridors page shows the settlement time for each country.

Who pays the fee on a transfer?

The sender pays the fee and the recipient receives the exact amount sent. The fee is shown before you confirm.
