Fees and limits: where to find them

What is published, what is shown before you pay, and the limits that apply while Olympus is in the regulatory sandbox.

We publish our fees and show the fee for a specific payment before you confirm it. There are no surprise deductions: the sender pays the fee and the recipient receives the exact amount.

Limits

While Olympus is in the Bank of Botswana Regulatory Sandbox, a single transaction is capped at BWP 5,000 and an account balance at BWP 20,000. The Bank of Botswana may revise these limits. Separately, you can set your own daily limit and approval threshold for your team. See Payment limits and approvals.

Fees are region based and can change on at least 30 days' written notice.

It depends on the type of payment and your plan. The fee for your payment is shown before you confirm it. The published schedule is on the fees page.

Is there a limit on how much I can send or hold?

While Olympus is in the Bank of Botswana Regulatory Sandbox, a single transaction is capped at BWP 5,000 and an account balance at BWP 20,000. The Bank of Botswana may revise these. You can also set your own team limits.
